Meet the Team

Hello! My name is Nereida. I am a Licensed Mental Health therapist and the owner of Nurturing Minds Therapy Services.

I enjoy working with adults who are motivated to address past or present challenges that impact their well-being, as well as those seeking more meaningful, balanced, and fulfilling lives. I provide Telehealth services in Florida and in-person services in Miami, Florida.

I specialize in working with adults, young adults, and college students who are navigating concerns such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, stress, and goal attainment. I utilize evidence-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to better understand patterns of thinking and behavior while developing practical tools for change.

Therapy sessions are individualized to each client’s unique needs. As a client-centered therapist, my approach is collaborative, grounded in empathy, respect, and understanding for each client’s experiences. My role is to work alongside clients as they overcome stressors/challenges, develop coping skills, achieve their personal goals, and regain overall well-being.
